North America: New York

New York

A wintery New York City, but thankfully with more days of sun than expected (One day with rain, and only one that didn't get above 32F). Our suspected phantom host eventually showed to give us keys to our digs at 43rd and 8th. First airbnb experience was definitely a positive one, a somewhat authentic experience close to subways/hells kitchen restaurants/broadway/central park and times square.

Best highlight in NY was Central Park with a fresh 10 inches blanket of snow, closely followed by views from top of the rock. Recommendations for next time: actually take a completely empty suitcase and if you want to see Manhattan, stay anywhere somewhat close to a subway it doesn't matter. LES or lower than 14th very acceptable.

  3. One of the ladies at work got back from Big White last week. She still won't stop raving about the powder and the quietness of all the runs.

  4. Great photos. Nice to see you mixing a bit of Polish history (all the way back to King Jagielo) with NY scenery.
